Care instructions

The fairies don't need much looking after, if they get a little dusty just simply blow the dust away.

The fairies with tutu's may need a little more care, especially the larger ones.

Please follow the care instructions below - no special equipment needed.

Sometimes tutu's can look a little ruffled, especially if they are Christmas themed fairies and have been packed away. Every year after unpacking your fairy please follow these simple instructions.

Using a felting needle, if you have one, start by combing the wool. If you don't have a felting needle please don't worry, a sewing needle or something similar would work just as well. Begin from roughly a centimetre in from the waist band and comb outwards towards the edge of the tutu. Repeat numerous times.

You will notice the wool starting to straighten out and look neat again. You will also notice some loose fibres of wool being pulled out whilst combing too. This is OK - keep going!

Once you have combed a section of tutu and are happy with it, gently pull away the loose fibres. As an alternative, you can carefully cut away the excess fibres with scissors if you prefer.

Continue this process all around her tutu, underneath too, until she looks as good as new again.

A video of this process in available on my socials.

So pretty!
