About me
My name is Louise, I'm based in Bridlington on the Yorkshire Coast and I have found a passion for wool.
I am entirely self taught and now devoted to designing and building truly special and beautiful needle felted fairies that are everlasting.
I specialise in fairies but I do create a range of pieces and welcome bespoke commissions.
Where it started
Just a little over four years ago my sister, pregnant with her first baby, asked me to make her a nursery mobile.
Having been sent many Pinterest examples of the ones she liked, the majority of which had been created using the needle felt method, excitedly I decided to give it a go!
I purchased the materials and tools I needed, had a design in mind and got started. Honestly, I was hooked within minutes and extremely proud of my finished creation! (not a great picture but the only one I seem to have left).
How it's grown
Just over seven years and roughly 1000 plus fairies later, I am a full time fairy lady!
I have an Etsy shop, my own website, stock in two local shops and have an order book full of bespoke orders to make.
I'm very happy.

What is Needle Felting?
Needle Felting is a dry needle felting technique which involves using special barbed needles to sculpt wool into 3D shapes.
The felted creations are Waldorf inspired and do not have faces. This allows you to use your imagination to interpret their facial expression as you wish.
Wool is a natural by-product, everything I make is environmentally friendly so we are doing our bit for the planet!
