What is needle felting?
Needle Felting is a dry needle felting technique which involves using special barbed needles to sculpt wool into 3D shapes.
The felted creations are Waldorf inspired and do not have faces. This allows you to use your imagination to interpret their facial expression as you wish.
Wool is a natural by-product, everything I make is environmentally friendly so we are doing our bit for the planet!

May I introduce the birthstone fairy, she wears a pretty white sparkly tutu with the top being the colour of her birthstone. Her hair is in a beautiful long plait and she holds a glass teardrop bead in the colour the same as her month of birth. She would make the perfect birthday gift!

This fairy is my interpretation of a well known character named after a day of the week.
She looks suitably moody in her black attire holding a silver skeleton and black heart. Her silky black hair is in plaits and she is stood on a wooden base with black twine, giving it a harsh nettle feel. I love her!
